Delivery Information
At Hamseys, we’re dedicated to getting you a better night’s sleep – and that means making it as easy as possible to have your new mattress delivered. Here are just a few of the things you should know about our delivery service:
Delivery Area:
We deliver to most areas in Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and London ourselves. We can deliver to other areas of the mainland UK via courier, however, this will incur an extra charge. This will be advised to you after placing the order as unfortunately, the checkout will not calculate this for you. It will be advisable to check prior to ordering to get an estimated cost, you can do this via email [email protected] or call 01293 536489. A courier service is not available for parts of Scotland and any area that is not mainland UK.
Arranging Delivery:
After you’ve ordered online we’ll email you within 48 hours with your order confirmation and arrange a day for delivery if the items are in stock. If you haven’t heard from us, please contact us at 01293 536489 (9am-5pm weekdays) to arrange a delivery day.
All furniture products on our website are advertised with either a delivery estimate or are listed as ‘In stock’. We aim to be as accurate as possible with lead times and pride ourselves on delivering on time. On the rare occasion that our estimate is not correct, we will be in touch with you as soon as possible to let you know of any delay.
Please notify us of any specific requirements for delivery (parking, difficult access, lifts/stairs in flats, etc.) when you make your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
We can also arrange for our delivery drivers to call you half an hour or an hour before they reach you, to ensure that you are home.
Local Delivery charge of £39.95 for orders below £250
You will be able to discuss these details with one of our customer service agents when they call you to arrange delivery.
Delivery is to the door, if you require delivery to your room of choice please contact us before ordering to discuss.
Assembly or Recycling Service
If you have ordered assembly or disposal of your old bed or mattress, this will be taken care of once we have delivered your new products.
We ask that you ensure that there is adequate space in your desired room for assembly, is that service is required.
We also ask that any furniture we’ll be disposing of is disassembled and ready to be taken.
Click & Collect
We also offer a free Click and Collect service. Simply select this as your delivery option at checkout. We’ll contact you soon to schedule a time to pick up your order from whichever of our warehouse locations is most convenient. If you discover that you cannot pick up your goods, we will arrange delivery. Please note that this will incur a small fee.
Please do ensure that you are able to collect your goods, as if you are unable to, a delivery charge will be added when delivery is arranged.
