Recycling Service

We understand how difficult it can be for some people to take their discarded mattresses to the tip, and how few bin-men actually take mattresses anymore. That is why Hamseys proudly offers collection and recycling of your unwanted mattresses. Simply select disposal service at check-out if you’re ordering online, or speak with one of our sales team if you’re buying in-store.

• Our Recycling service costs from £35.00 per item.
• We can dispose of beds as well as mattresses, but we do ask that you make sure it has been disassembled. The bed and mattress count as 2 separate items, so you must be taking delivery of 2 similar items to qualify for this service.
• We can dispose of divan sets, but these count as 2 separate items as well. Please note that we can only dispose of like-for-like items. If we are delivering a new mattress we will happily take away your old mattress, but we could not take, say, a divan or sofa.
• We also cannot take items that are unhygienically soiled. Our drivers have absolute discretion to refuse such items.
• Lastly, we cannot dispose of sofa beds.
